This was a fantastic restaurant. We had a group of three and nobody left disappointed. We were all very pleased with our dishes. I personally had the grilled Sea Ray and it was phenomenal. All dishes were cooked to perfection. I also had the house white wine and it was very well paired with the grilled sea. Ray.

Old school Portuguese place and is bigger then it looks, great street patio and nice and traditional interior. Daily menus and regular menu. Delicious home cooked food with great sized portions too. All the food is fantastic and well priced 1/2 dose is more then enough for most and lots are just 10-12 euros. A full dose usually 13-16. If you want great Portuguese food at a great price come here to the grasshopper

There are tables outside which are perfect for enjoying the nice weather, but also a cozy space inside. The vibe is great, but it does get busy, so I’d definitely suggest booking ahead to avoid waiting.
Service was excellent both times—really polite, quick, and friendly. Can’t recommend it enough if you’re into fresh seafood and good, honest hospitality!- Wait time

I planned to take photos of all the food to post a review but everything was so delicious that I forgot. What a wonderful restaurant! Friendly service, unpretentious, simple delicious food. The bread, the starters, even the house wine were all amazing. I wish I lived nearby - I’d be there most days. Get there early otherwise you’ll be queueing for a table!

We had a great Portugese meal with friends. Some dishes were not available, but what serves was really good. Also vegetarian option. House wine was ok, not so special. Overall good place!

True Portuguese food. Huge portions and extremely reasonably priced. The pork and clams are as delicious and could feed 2!

Two of us had a great lunch! We had a short wait for a table outside as people move in and out quicker than you’d think. We both ordered fish and everything was extremely fresh and delicious. The staff were super friendly, speaking to us in both Portuguese and English. I would definitely eat here again!

They take care of customers. Traditional Portuguese cuisine. The service is fantastic. Highly professional people running the restaurant. The food was great and they have good selection of wines. Will come back.

A tremendous Portuguese restaurant. It had a line to enter, but it was pretty fast to get in. The service was excellent and fast. But the best was the food. Everything is fresh and perfectly cooked. They even have a vegetarian option that is great and delicious.

When it’s packed and it’s just Portuguese dolls, you know you’re in for a treat. Excellent food served home style (read: not fancy). Family owned for generations.

I return to this restaurant after a few years and it continues to not disappoint. Good place to eat traditional Portuguese food. The space is welcoming. The staff are very friendly and professional.

Amazing food! We left really full and really impressed by great service. We tried carne de porco à alentejana and grilled cuttlefish. Both dishes very tasty and huge enough to share with the kids, as well. Recommended place!
